The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Rivers State is calling for the sole administrator to publicly disclose financial allocations from the Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC). Acting chairman Robinson Nname-Ewor emphasized the need for transparency regarding both FAAC funds and the state’s internally generated revenue.
He criticized the administrator’s plan to submit a budget to the National Assembly, stating that his primary role should be to restore peace and order.
Nname-Ewor also urged Rivers residents to pressure President Bola Tinubu to reconsider the dissolution of the existing governance structure, which he claims undermines effective governance in the state.
