Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan has filed a ₦5 billion lawsuit against Senator Nwaebonyi for allegedly stating that she has six children with different men.
Suspended Senator for Kogi Central, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan has filed a N5 billion def+mation lawsuit against her colleague Senator Onyekachi Nwaebonyi over purported claims that she has six children with different men.
The suit, previously filed before the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), was led by her counsel, SAN M.J. Numa. The suit claims that Nwaebonyi’s utterances were false, malicious, and a deliberate attempt to d+stroy her reputation which is totally wrong.
Akpoti-Uduaghan told the court that Senator Nwaebonyi, representing Ebonyi North and is the Deputy Chief Whip of the Senate, made the remarks during a broadcast interview on Channels TV’s Sunrise Daily on March 6, 2025.
In the interview, he reportedly referred to her as a “gold d+gger,” “habitual liar,”” and “bl@ckmailer,”” and also said that her husband, Chief Emmanuel Uduaghan, married her out of pressure.
